Lauren Atkins: Perfect seafood spot: $1 oysters between 5-7pm...and the trout was quite delicious too. Exceeded my usual expectations of trout.
Marc Mayer: Really nice, obscure as hell beer menu. Creative cocktails too. Weird crowd. Felt like I was the only one there not in the postnatal afterglow. Congrats on your new startup, young parents! Vaccinate!

EJ Cory: While the obanzai are the highlight, Hibino also has the best sushi in the 'hood - small delicate portions, perfectly seasoned rice, fresh fish.
DailyCandy: This comfy spot is as close to authentic Kyoto-style as you can get. Daily obanzai (tapas) is a must; the chirashi — a heaping bowl of sashimi, veggies, omelet, and rice — is one of the best around.
Joe D: Really a special, cozy Kyoto-style sushi restaurant. I recommend going off-menu for the daily-special sushi, sashimi, rolls, and most importantly, Obanzai (not to be missed)
