Arguably the best listening room sound system in NYC defeated by improperly mounted door hinges. Once you notice the squeaks, you can’t un-hear them. Still a pretty awesome place.

$4 coat check. Peak times to pick up coats are insane as there is no line, just a crush of people shoving you. Venue itself: sound system could be better and there are support beams blocking the view.
Circus-style tents set up as a nightclub! Sounds like a joke to me but says who?! I always have a great time partying here. Sound system and lighting setup are amazeballs. Drinks are really great too

In addition to an excellent draft beers selection, the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup was really good.

Spacious bar downstairs. Great sound system and crowd. Easily one of my favorite venues in NYC.
MHOW is a great place for a concert. Sound is amazing, always a great view of the band. Upstairs they have great bench seats. The bar prices aren't too bad, most of the time they have happy hour.

Get the goat!! Also: posole, huaraches, anything with steak. Cheap beer. Open til 12 and they take cards - what's not to like??
