The rooftop bar is on the 6th floor and has a beautiful view of the city. Go early, catch the sunset, and then jet to a dive bar before the meatpacking-esque crowd arrives.

Sometimes you get there early, and wait for a bar to open for the day. No sweat, but the exciting feeling of anticipation makes a beer taste all the better. Show up early, happy hour here is great.

They play The The and The Police and Van Morrison (and other wonderful bands). The service is hit/miss and the food prices aren't excellent but the food, drinks, and atmosphere are excellent!

Not-so-secret-very-small-garden in the back! Great German beer selection, you can even try out the traditional Berliner Weisse with woodruff or raspberry syrup drink. Pretzels are good.

Obviously the burgers! Friendly attentive service. Counter or table seating. Happy hour until 9pm. 3rd outpost in NYC. Chipotle BBQ wings were excellent and The Masterpiece Burger tasty and filling.
Just as the 38th St location, but in Brooklyn... so arguably better.
