Jackiez Gonzalez: Great ambiance, live music every night (& no cover!), amazing food. A little more $$$ for a regular hangout place but a night of cocktails and apps (tuna spring roll!!) is a great one indeed.

OurStage: An original dive that's not too dive-y. No stage, but an area next to the bar hosts some of the best live music you'll find. Treat Her Right (pre-Morphine) filmed a video here (I Think She Likes Me).

M3t47 G34r: Amazing restaurant. Best place for sushi and live music. You can either get traditional sushi, or be adventurous and try their specialties. Definitely go for sleeping beauty roll.
Yasemin: Very vegan friendly Asian fusion restaurant, great cocktails, nice vibe, and live Jazz. Service is rather slow but food is very fresh and delicious. Definitely try the sweet potato roll.
