The Corcoran Group: One of our favorite NY things to do is have cocktails after work on the roof of the Metropolitan, and take in the best views of Central Park. Open through late fall. Closed on Mondays.

Cherry Lynn: Great place to lounge on the grass, soak up some sun, and people watch! Nice view of the Belvedere Castle, too. Just watch out for any incoming baseballs, footballs, and frisbees.
