it's you know, a little more high-end, but I love it. I normally order a Caesar salad and the Mac and Cheese(which i LOVE). Their fired oysters, which are juicy and delicious, are very tasty as well.
Wondering do they have fried chicken livers? Never had the pleasure of eating here but live near by and love the retro decor.

The meatloaf is the bomb! Also had the grilled chicken liver skewers, which was pretty good. But I really like the mashed cauliflower. I'm going to make that for Thanksgiving!! Dish is Delish!!

Fried chicken and chicken livers are wonderful. All of the sides with the dinners are homemade. Must try the homemade cakes too!

Unexpected treat. Dilapidated signage belies Clean & bright inside. Helpful staff. Cheap prices. Yummy potato salad & hot tuna pita. Cheeseburger tastes homemade. Excellent iced tea! We'll return.

Sushi that meets NYC's quality standards (don't blame me if you're a west coaster and are hating). Toro was high quality, as were oysters and veggies we ordered. Next time: ribs, cod, ice cream

Chef Jamie Lynch makes use of local ingredients and puts a creative twist on any dish. (Try the NC Grouper.) The spot is perfect to enjoy a drink (we recommend QC Iced Tea) before hitting the clubs.
Lamb burger is a no brainer for first timers. The entire book "The Art of War" is hand painted on the ceiling. Brunch has bottomless sangria. Helen Schwab names their fries "best in town"

Hands down the best chicken salad in town, but with so many creative lunch selections, it's difficult to choose. Plus, Halcyon - located in the Mint Museum Uptown - is open for lunch on the weekends.
