James Orton: Fantastic Gin and cocktails hidden behind a coffee shop exterior. Loved it!
Ania Bańczyk: One of my favorite speakeasies. Love the interior and the burlesque shows. Gin cocktails are delicious.
Thiago Benicchio: Gin cocktails in a speakeasy bar, great experience. The food is also great, tuna tartare tacos are amazing. Didn't have time to taste all the drinks, but there's no wrong choice here.

Michael Fox-Rabinovitz: Great sliders, super tater tots, good American Whisky selection, rather limited single Malt list
Andrew Doll: Great selection of whiskey, but has a kind of "bro-ish" atmosphere. Staff was friendly and helpful!
Jereme Bivins: Great atmosphere, fantastic whiskey menu, and extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff.

The Wall Street Journal: The Gun Metal Blue drink steals the spotlight. Don't be fooled by the color. The drink, made with Mezcal Vida and blue Curaçao, is unexpectedly smoky, with hints of peach balanced by cinnamon syrup. Read more.
Red & Brown: You can't go wrong with any of the cocktails, but mezcal lovers will definitely want a Gun Metal Blue.
James J: The atmosphere is cool and bartenders good. I wasn't a huge fan of the drinks menu though. Lots of great bourbons though.

Nicole S: Fantastic specialty drinks - some of my favorites have been the "hurricane" rum punch (night before Irene hit NY) and the absinthe shots.
Daina Falk: Try the absinthe lemonade!
Experiences: Time travel to Sleep No More's eerie-romantic after-hours hang. We can send you in VIP style (reserved table for 6, absinthe punch to go around) & see revivalist jazz of the era. Bring your friends! > Read more.

Jessie Rauch: We tried many of the cocktails, but the best by far was Scozzese in the Garden: caorunn Scottish gin, cocchi americano rosa, carpano antica
Serious Eats: The punches add a further element of theatricality: poured into tureens tableside, some warm with Scotch, some indulgent with a whole bottle of Champagne—& some with jumping flames of absinthe alit.
E Mar: Hands down the best brunch I've had in NYC. Live jazz, unlimited mimosas and Bloody Marys, and food to die for. Make sure you get the bread pudding with the bourbon caramel sauce.

Tim Shey: Try the Funaguchi -- premium sake in a can. Each $12 can pours two full glasses -- perfect to share, the best deal in the house besides Shochu Tuesday ($20 off all bottles).
Mari: Sit at the bar, buy a bottle of sake or shochu, if you can't finish it write your name on a label and come back late (within 3 months of course).
Stephen Lyman: One of the best shochu bars in NYC. Just started carrying Satoh & Tenshi No Yuwaku genshu. Bottle keep means you don't have to go by the glass.

James Forrest: Great place to get local spirits from NY, as well as a great wine selection. Rather limited white wine but great, diverse range of reds.
Serious Eats: Located inside the famous Chelsea Market, this spirits shop carries a respectable array of quality liquor. The prices skew a little high, but it's a best bet for the neighborhood nonetheless.
Todd A Williams: Wine and vodka what's not to like!!

Meli: Wildly amazing food and service! Get your soul food here. The wild berry mojito & mac n cheese are MUST TRIES! The chicken is juicy and flavorful and so is their fish. RSVP beforehand.
Chelsea: Short rib tacos are the bomb. Definitely recommend the Liquid Passion and the Wildberry Mojito! And deep fried Oreos are a must.

Munira Ahmed: their hot sauce is great! MEGA spicy but flavorful, gotta be scotch bonnet pepper in that
Aaron Christopher Cohen: Mojitos are $11 but they have like 5 shots in them.
Kay Gonic: Organic turkey burger with a pickle was tasty and sizeable. It's also a good choie if you're looking for something light. I had the Guayabera drink (gin) and it was okay as far as an $11 drink goes.

Veronica Carvallo: Go on your own, explore and have a glass of Laphroaig at the bar post-play
A. Del Sole: Be prepared to run and follow the actors. Explore but don't get too side tracked. Also try the Absinthe at the bar.
Anna Hyclak: Hands down, one of the coolest experiences I've had in New York. Shakespeare meets "Eyes Wide Shut" meets a 1920s speakeasy. Don't let the actors talk you into absinthe shots, whatever you do.
