Best bagels in New York City without a question. My favorite is a warm poppyseed bagel with sliced lox, scallion cream cheese and a slice of tomato. Their cream cheese flavors are exceptional as well.
3rd favorite bagel in NY...which is high praise! Doughy and chewy bread, great lox, cream cheese and toppings. A little pricey though.

If the biscuits aren’t sold out, GET THEM. We also had the salmon pastrami (excellent), the pretzel chicken (super duper) and the butter lettuce (surprisingly really tasty - add the poached egg).

This is the place. It's where everyone, rich, poor, famous, or famished winds up when the clubs close; where locals show up hung-over the next day, and where their parents grab an early bird special.
Try the B.E.L.T. with a side of potato hash. Local coffee and truly fresh squeezed orange juice are delicious as well.
