Kiwi Wang: Big, fancy, pricey. Gorgeous view, snag a window seat. Food lives up to razzle dazzle- whole grilled fish amazingly tender, octopus cooked perfectly. Service a little confused but well intentioned :)

Winson Wong: Speakeasy that's hidden behind a coffee shop. Great drinks (albeit slightly pricey), great atmosphere and great place to just hang out.
Ashley Simon: Entrance is through the coffee shop, in an unmarked door that blends with the wallpaper. food: kobe sliders. booze: the sling if you like gin, el diablo if you like tequila.

Matthew Anderson: The espresso is great, the staff friendly, and the music is consistently good. No laptops allowed, but it adds to a good vibe. iPhones, tablets, and even conversation welcome!

EsuNYC .: The garden at Cafe Grumpy is one of my favorite places to read. It's small, cute, and very quiet, especially in the morning. However, it's currently 7:17am so I guess most of Manhattan is still quiet.
