Best bar in Chicago period. Treat your bartenders well here, they are experts and deserving.
Get here early on a summer evening, colonize a big table on the back patio and hold court with several of your fellow beer lovers until the tamale man arrives with reinforcements.

Awesome food friendly service the tempura was amazing the shrimp dumpling where out of this world and the prices very reasonable but the softcrabshell roll was unbelievable.
The chef’s special rolls were awesome.

My dad told me Bohica stands for Bend Over Here It Comes Again. I'm not sure how accurate that is... but what I do know is this place has fantastic spinach artichoke dip.
Try the red wine garlic fries! Wow. Really good thin crust pizza too.

Some of the best thin crust pizza in Chicago! Try the "white pizza"...only hold the onions. Garlic feta fries are amazing too.

For tea time on a weekend (3-5pm), it's recommended to make a reservation a week in advance. The Allis Breakfast is delectable. I've never been disappointed by the food, though service can be slow.
Soho!! Must try the Le Louisiane. Insanely great cocktail that walks the fine line of being a Manhattan & Sazerac at the same time with outstanding mannerisms and a mature touch. Just beautiful.

seriously understaffed. I don't know what they are thinking. I have been here watching a hawks game for over 2 hours and I have only been able to get 1 drink. This place could be awesome but its not.

Open on the 4th all day! The Pasta Nero is delicioso! Delicato squid ink fettuccini with shrimp, mussels, and calamari tossed in a spicy smoky tomato sauce.Great paired w/ a Sangiovese or a nice rose!
The charcuterie (grande piatto misto do salumi &formaggio) is outstanding! Ask for Velvet, she won't steer you wrong!
Seabass was outstanding, fresh oysters were delicious. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. I will repeat here!
You get really looked after here backstage. sound engineer was great, great quality on and off stage. Nice food too, salads were great, makes a change from your normal bar burgers
