La Encantada serves an elegantly executed Mexican-style ceviche, with shrimp, tomato, and avocado uniformly chopped into tiny bites and filled in with plenty of cilantro and purple bits of onion.
Hungry? Get a Cochinita sandwich or a bacon and cheese mollete. Not so hungry? Get the corn and poblano chowder. The mango lime agua is also great.
The poblano corn chowder was excellent. Sadly, the Cubano was just a bit to aggressively smoked. Next time, I will get a different torta.
Tortas took a while & fillings were barely lukewarm. Flavors ok. Corn chowder was silky w plenty of poblano flavor. Mango lime & raspberry nopal aguas were tart & refreshing. Mex inspired not Mex.

The poblano potato taco and elotes are amazing. The market mushroom taco is good as well & quite spicy. Great interiors. Friendly staff.

The tacos are delicious & they have ample outdoor seating space. I’d suggest the mushroom taco (special item), brisket taco, fish taco, or shrimp taco. All were amazing!

Try the queso fundido classico and mexcal margarita; both are A+. The blue agave margarita A-. The mole poblano a solid B; not exceptional but good. Try Guelaguetza in LA for amazing mole.
Try the Queretaro-style green mole (sesame seeds, almonds, peanuts, poblano, plantain, sweet spices) that comes w/Pollo en Mole Verde Queretano. It's incredible!

Yeah, it gets mobbed for brunch on the weekends, but the black-bean cake and eggs is a winning breakfast any day of the week.
