The Roost is consistently one of my favorite food trucks. The chicken is some of the best in the city. The staff is friendly, and remember me each time. I will go out of my way for this place.
When they're close by get there quick, you don't want to miss the biscuits and they can run out fast.

OMG 99% Chocolate gelato and ice cream.!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No other words necessary. It was great. I had the skirt steak which was fantabulous. Supposedly everything here is superb, wouldn't doubt it!

The tiramisu and lemon square are both ungodly (in a good way), and the energy soup is more filling than it looks, and the name is right! It gives you a lovely, clear energy.

Great server, felt like we were with family. New Orleans breakfast was delicious. Excellent fried chicken and sides. Order eggs with cheese - without cheese they're bland. Delicious peach cobbler.

There are parking meters all around-good luck finding one at the right time, but if you park in the lot behind & across the street from the liquor store, Valois will validate - up to an hour - free!
The peach cobbler dessert was great! Had the mushroom burger entree...okay but I probably wouldn't try another vegetarian option of theirs :-/
