Sarahjoy Crain: I'd read Lindsey's tip, so I made sure the cute boy (BTW his name is Andrew) helped me instead of the old-ish woman. I trust Lindsey's reason, but I'll add that the eye candy was a nice bonus.
Will O'Hargan: I strongly recommend the Cinnamon ice cream. Goes great with hot fudge or graham crackers.
Lindsey Kessler: Do not get your ice cream from the old lady. She takes so long to make your ice cream that by the time it gets into your cup it's half melted. She also puts 10% less ice cream than the boy does.
Jeff Gwynn: Highly recommend the Maguire's Salad and Crostinis.
Nora Chang: Green Chile lasagna, scallops with jalapeño cheese grits, fried green tomato salad were all delish! Nice wine selection as well. I think Thurs and Sun are discounted wines.
Joe Keever: Steaks!!!! Kale & Brussel sprout salad. Tuna tartar! Charred Brussel sprouts - my fav!!! Can't go wrong with just about anything.
Dallas Observer: Home-cooked favorites include meat loaf, chicken and dumplings as well as the obligatory chicken-fried steak matched by classic Southern sides like turnip greens and candied yams, just to name a few. Read more.

Chris F: Open for lunch with the same great dinner options! Love that pecan sauce!
Eater: There's plenty of room to cozy up inside the bar with a juicy burger, chorizo empanadas or some calf fries and a local draft or cocktail made with Texas-born spirits--Uptowners are doing it in droves.
