It's always fun to visit during the day, but one of the best ways to experience the park in summer is to have an evening picnic. The crowds leave as you arrive and pretty soon you have it to yourself.

This is an awesome park. Dirt trails for running and biking and cement trails for those who like to stroll or roller-blade. And did I mention it attaches to a 42+mile trail? Just a great park overall.

The best is when the weather is between 65-70F. And you can make it a good 3 miles' stroll in there.

Make sure you ask for Jessie. The patio is fantastic. The artichoke tortellini and raspberry spumo are life changing. Oh and make sure you start with the picnic!
Everything was good here, had the fresh bacon and the picnic both were good. Of the main courses the best was the chicken. I wouldn't repeat this restaurant just because they don't have enough variety

Small shop staffed by thoughtful, knowledgeable mongers. Ask for tastes, and try all the local cheeses. And ask for a cardboard knife for picnics!

Tip: If you have one leg and are in a wheelchair, it will take approximately 8 police officers to arrest you.
