This is a very beautiful and exciting park for the whole family. Be sure to check out the flea market on Saturdays, and bring extra cash for parking and vendors that sell summer treats.
The Museum of Texas History is also in the park and The Heritage Society still endures, providing free guided tours and maintaining the park as a tangible time-line for generations to come.

Big hotel full of ammenities and good restaurants. Excellent choice. Next door to a huge park with cafes and outdoor areas.
It's a nice new hotel. No parking at the hotel itself though, you have to park on the street or in a nearby lot. I guess it's what would be called a "traveler's hotel"
