Small place with 1 entrance and exit. The cashier is a bit slow; thus the long line. The carne asada tacos were plentiful with the meat. They also use lard in their tortillas. Not worth the long wait.
Wow! So good. Norteño style, flour tortillas (with lard), shredded beef chivichanga just amazing, tacos too. The avocado sauce is liquid gold. Not fancy, just flawless.

Possibly my favorite tacos in LA. GCM has changed quite a bit in recent years, but this place has stayed true to its roots. One taco is enough to feed an army.
Staff was super friendly. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the breakfast burritos on their menu. Chai tea was also delicious and I’m a very picky chai drinker.

Margaritas, get a spicy one. Happy hour before 7pm is great with tacos, ceviche and guacamole. There is usually plenty of parking, you can enter on central or 6th St.
A whole other world inside these doors. Never in my life have I had so much satisfaction from a chicken salad!

Wild mushroom pizza with truffle oil, delicious. Jambalaya is way better than Cheesecake Factory, maybe a bit salty but you can ask for light sauce. Finish off with butter cake with ice cream.
