New chicken and waffles are insane! Panko coated and lightly fried, with SRIRACHA MAPLE SYRUP. So good.

The Chicken and waffles was SO GOOD. I don't know what they did to that chicken, but it was amazing. And of course, you can't come here without getting the doughnuts.
The chicken and waffles are really good. The waffle has bacon cooked into it. Very chill and charming spot in DC. Kinda hidden too.
Never a bad meal at Tabard Inn...explore the ever changing menu and the impressive wine list - you will not be disappointed. Just make sure to save room for amazing dessert menu!

The unlimited brunch deal is pretty awesome. While not all of the plates tasted great, the Mac and cheese, s'mores French toast, grits, and chicken and waffles certainly made up for the rest.
Eat in the bar area. Have the Brussel sprouts, lobster and grits and Mac n cheese for sure!

Great atmosphere. Delicious Scallops -- perfectly cooked! The green beans were a bit overcooked but still good.
Pie is available in half slices. Combine one of key lime and one of banana cream for the best of both worlds.
