Lauren Downing: Totally standard and cheap bakery fare if you happen to be in the neighborhood. Soup is always a good bet!
Harlem Ambassador: A sandwich, croissant, or pastries are prominent on the menu. With (3) tables, real estate is hard to come by. Especially the lunch hours. Breakfast escapes are ideal. Be sure to sample the soups.

ドーラ: Carne asada: a big slice of lean steak grilled to perfection, with yummylicious barbecue sauce and sauteed onions and jalapenos on the side, served over yellow rice and with a bowl of chili soup.

James Gonzalez: I would order the famous arroz con pollo (rice with chicken) as he competed against Bobby Flay, or the pernil con el arroz y gandules. Well worth it!! Oh and the lentil soup. :-) enjoy :-)
