This place is pretty authentic. The Mung Bean noodles is my favorite thing. Disappointed in the water-cooked fish because thats not how it is in China. Service was efficient, food was tasty. Long wait

Always long lines to get in, Kenka is definitely worth the wait! Time spent in here really feels like you're in old Japan, with the decor, music and authentic dishes! LOVE the green bean ice cream!
They have Japanese authentic food so you need to know what are you ordering. Drinking there is pretty cheap and the best thing is a late St. Marks diner place.
Small portions but great quality. Sashimi dinner: 6 types of fish, 15 pieces with soup or salad, $28. Grilled banana with ice cream $6. Authentic look and feel.
They have great lunch specials and early bird dinner specials. All the food is always so fresh, worth the price.
