Their speciality are sausages and mashes and those are REALLY good! Lamb and mint sausage is must try. Try also Thistly Cross cider from whiskey cask! Strong, but delicious!
The atmosphere of this place is just the best! Staff are super friendly and makes the difference. Sausages are great! Try the veggies as well, you won't regret.

Everything was perfect! Try the salmon, the sausage with mustard sauce and the Turkey with blue cheese sauce!! The crème brulé is one of the best I've tried. Friendly staff overall.

We had the beef bourguignon and the coq au vin and they were incredible. Delicious creme brûlée, too.
Bbl has the finest link and lorne sausages in Edinburgh, hand made by their own butcher. Situated just opposite the pleaseance courtyard it's a good place to see stars during the Edinburgh festival.

The full english breakfast is a bit weak. A very small portion of black pudding. The sausages were almost ‚white‘ and the beans were cold and hard.
