2. Five Leaves

18 Bedford Ave (at Lorimer St), Brooklyn, NY
New American Restaurant · Greenpoint · 535 tips and reviews
amoolia: The Five Leaves burger and truffle fries are always a safe bet. For a lighter option, go for the chopped black kale (anchovy goooodness) and seasonal soup, which in autumn is especially delicious.
New York PR: kale salad is good but it has chunks of anchovy in the salad and not just in the dressing so I got sick of it half way through and pushed it to the side and ate my boyfriends truffle fries.
RJ Dugan: Get the oysters. Few places serve really great oysters in BK and this is one of them. Always check out the specials and the cocktails. This kitchen knows their pork and sea food.
4. Fornino

Pizzeria · Greenpoint · 39 tips and reviews
Kristina: Great pizza, great antipasti. Go for the artichokes with aioli.
Amanda C: A happy welcome to the neighborhood. No need to compare to Paulie Gee's - both pizza shops are great and have different (inviting) vibes. Highly recommend the Spinach pizza, it's truly delicious.
Jamie Wolfe: Fornino won my heart when we accidentally knocked our pizza on the floor and they immediately replaced it. 👌🙌👍 all around!
6. Italy Pizza

800 Manhattan Ave (Meserole Ave/Calyer St), Brooklyn, NY

Brian Grogan Jr.: Tasty, classic, New York pizza with a great variety of slices available in the front case. The chicken bacon ranch and the Sicilian slices are my two favorites. Dependable place for a slice in GPoint.
Misia: Tony, Baldo & Eddie are great guys. The fresh mozzarella and basil slice is simple, rustic and delicious. My fave!
John M: Newly renovated, same great food!!

Daniela Asaro: Service is mediocre. Food too. Wait until they get it together before coming here.
Eater: The tapas menu at El Born is heavy on the vegetable dishes, but you'll also find lamb chops, foie gras with quince, quail with chocolate, and crispy rabbit. Read more.

Marisa: Flaky bread & labneh a must! Great meal, a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
The New Yorker: “Glasserie’s convivial ethos feels in keeping with the way we like to eat now: gone is the three-course meal, and, instead, appetizers become entrées, and back again, all of it customizable.” Read more.
Claire: The menu descriptions do not do justice to how amazing and complex the dishes are. Your ideal meal: radishes w/ feta, new potatoes w/ Spanish cheese & soft egg, rice w/ yogurt and the lamb belly. Wow.

Cooper Smith: Here for brunch? Order the Croque Madame - a grilled ham and cheese with an egg on it
Claudia Filth: Love this place. Friendly, knowledgable staff and great first date spot. Get the olives for the table and the baguette with caramelized onions and Brie.
