The hotel is nice and it is always nice to be in Hawaii. As for the room, it was a little too noisy. I was woken up by the cars and trucks. My room was on the tenth floor. Maybe face the beach more.

The rooms are small but at the right angle you can see the beach. Parking is $20/day; the valets are very quick. We traded timeshare points for this, and for the points and location, it's worth it!
I like it here. It has nice amenities and it is a great price for staying in Waikiki. If going to Koko cafe for breakfast, get there before 8am since it fills up fast!

Known as the “Pink Palace”, this chic and modern hotel offers great views of Waikiki Beach.
One of the worst hotels. The pool is dismal as is any chance of getting a chair on the beach. The front desk hangs up on you mid sentence & The concierge didn't know of ANY local restaurants.really?!?
Make sure to try the Moana Sunset tea, a heady blend of ohelo berries and mango with black tea. Don't miss the treat that comes at the end—a tiny scoop of lemongrass-green tea sorbet.

Good hotel. 5 mins walk away from the beach. High rooms have great ocean views or mountain views the opposite side which also look on to nice high rise apartments. Small gym24hrs, clean rooms and more
In the morning the valet guys get really busy, best to call down ahead by a few minutes and that cuts down your wait time! Also helps if you get to know them, I recommend Rich, always has a smile!
The concierge at the Westin Moana Surfrider recommended this food truck for garlic shrimp. It was great!

They have garlic, spicy, and lemon pepper varieties of shrimp plates. Each comes with two scoops of rice, some salad and wedge of pineapple. There is nothing more to add, Macky's shrimp simply rocks!
