Love to run here, the loop of the park is about 2 miles and flat. If you want a longer loop or hills, head up and around Diamond Head.

Residents having to pay to park or walk in is crazy, but it's $5 per car or $1 per walker. It's all paved, and it's ruined the hike.
If you are here to get a "work out" don't come when the park first opens (at least not on Thursday that's when I came), unless you want to drown in a sea of tourists..🐠🐟🙋🏻🐋🐳🐬

one of the best areas to do beach activities in Waikiki/ Honolulu. Great view of Waikiki, great spots for bbq-ing, and some free parking!!! Not as crowded as main strip of Waikiki.

Used to have concerts here before drugs and fights forced them elsewhere. Good walking park if u can avoid the crackheads and homeless.
Still a beautiful view, but the park has definitely fallen on very rough times.

Lesser-known (hence less touristy) but beautiful beach. Head to the lagoon at the end for great swimming and seclusion. Wonderful picnic spot and the best place to watch the sunset.
Off the strip. Across the street from a great park. Quiet. Coffee & tea from 6-10 and wine from 3-5. Towels, chairs, bikes, yoga. Five stars. A great place!

Not a bad hike at all. Walk in $1 (cash only) and in 20 minutes you've got a great view. Park closes at 6pm so get in by 5!
This would be an awesome place to watch the sunset, but park closes at 6pm; also might be difficult to hike back down in the dark
Either come 15 minutes before the park opens or wait until after 7:15 am to avoid the tour buses. Great morning hike!
