Authentic ramen, easily accessible in Mitsuwa Japanese grocery store. Bring cash because they don't take card.
Their signature shio ramen. Noodles, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, a pickled plum, slice of fish cake, sesame seeds, scallions, and chashu (pork). The broth is a blend of pork and seafood stock and oil.
Authentic and good Chinese/Taiwanese noodle shop （one of the better ones in the OC）with delish homemade thick noodles and side dishes. Great dumplings and scallion pancakes too！
I love the scallion cake and lots of people like the beef noodle.
Spicy beef noodle soup is the must have. Lots of other good Taiwan foods like pan friend scallion cake. Come for the breakfast too!
Excellent & authentic Szechuan food cooked by owner/chef Eugene. The boiled fish (hot) is a favorite. Ask Eugene and he will be pleased to indulge you in Szechuan culture. *****

Ambiance is no frills, comfort food---dumplings, noodles, all manner of preparation. It's good to come here and share with your friends, eating family style. Interesting, authentic dishes.
Dumplings and pot stickers joint. The house made relish is addicting.
If you get dumplings you have to be careful because they're juicy and will squirt! :3

This place is so awesome. I am a pho snob and this place is top notch. The staff is incredibly happy and helpful and the food is very authentic and delicious.
Best pho we've found. We split a large #19. Sometimes spring rolls if we're hungrier.

One of My fav Korean in Irvine, All soups are great！Sul Long Tang, Galbi Tang and Gamja Tang（Spicy Potato Soup）！Love them all！
Nice neighborhood location. Always hits the spot with their sullungtang (beef bone soup). They use thin wheat noodles here in their soup, but you can request rice noodle without extra charge.
Plaza openings are only on Yale (not Trabuco). Also, they give you "free extra rice" if you want.
