Excellent calamari. Hunkar begendi only at lunch. For dinner, you'll need a reservation or come by after 930pm.
One of the best restaurant in Istanbul. Must go and taste all delicious food. Atmosphere is very cool. Blue is mixed with tradition. Octopus , kofte and fish are the best foods to try out.

Excellent sea bream, good sword fish.. Had the fried mussels for starters, fried calamari and white beans stew.. All light, fresh & tasty.. Fast service.. I would advice you to book ahead!
Probably the best seafood place in Istanbul! Should start with Taramosalata, pickles, octopus salad, sugar beans, followed by grilled bluefish, fried red mullet and broiled lypsos.
Some of the best food we had in Istanbul. Fixed price set menu (105TL/person) which includes beer/wine and 5 courses (including a 20 plate meze selection and tasty grilled octopus). Tricky to find!

Terrific place. Supposedly the smallest, cosiest and most friendly place in Kumkapi. Almost only locals here. Try the appetizers - and definitely don't miss the grilled calamari, Capari special!

A real fisherman's restaurant near Sultanahmet square. They only serve fresh seafood from the Bosphorus and the seas of Turkey. Try the grilled whole squid and the gurnard stew. Don't miss that place!
This is not the best seafood place I have ever been but it was the best I have been in Instambul. Good service, they aloud smoking and the had very good fried calamari. Expensive...

All mezes we tried were quite fresh and delicious. Fried calamari was ok but grilled Octopus was great..Don't forget to finish w the desert made w artichoke.I think prices a bit high.
I have tasted grilled calamary in several places include italy, greece; however the one i had here was the most delicious. Also check zucchini blossoms dolmas, no regret. 9 points out of 10.

Excellent service paired with excellent food and drink. The Negroni might be the best I’ve ever had. Also noteworthy was the octopus and the beef dumpling - sour, savory, spicy and simply delicious.
