My new fave place in LA. There is (amazing) food for everyone. Beef tartare is amongst the best I ve had, and black cod is - wait for it - better than nobu. So tender. Great vibe
Share dishes (eg., kale w/almonds & pecorino; pumpkin toast; Hinoki black cod) & try their specialty drinks, too (eg, "son of a bee sting" - gin, ginger, lemon, rose water). Very unique place indeed!

Sweet potato may not sound like a great taco filling, but it’s fantastic. Fried cod tacos and potato taquitos are also great. Reasonably priced, excellent service and nice atmosphere to boot.

It isn't my favorite Japanese fusion restaurant, but it's still very good. Miso broiled black cod, crab hand rolls, spicy tuna on crispy rice and yellowtail sashimi are all great.

If you have never had miso grilled black cod you must try it. I have never seen anyone not like it. Haru's bento box with miso grilled black cod and choice of sashimi or tempura is a delicious bargain
Great price performance at this solid Japanese restaurant. The miso black cod bento is our favorite. Sashimi fan? Their sashimi platter won't break the bank. Never a charge for selecting brown rice.

Everything I had was amazing! The black cod, chicken satay, and veggie tacos were so good and the lychee sangria is to die for! Also love the fusion salsas and sweet tunes- definitely coming back!

Miso marinated black cod was excellent. Everything we ordered we ordered was delicious, raw fish very fresh.
