Alana Davis: When eating the nigiri sushi, beware! They put a heap of wasabi right in the middle and if you're not used to it, it can drive you into mild shock.
Nick Daze: Nigiri sushi here is very fresh and delicious. However, the Dynamite Roll is not your typical spicy shrimp tempura & tuna roll—it's a spicy tuna roll with a greasy shrimp sauce on top. Like nachos 😫.
Wendy Sung: The fact that this place has been around for 10+ years speaks to its adherence to quality and value. Try the a la carte nigiri!

Omer Gelbard: Try the Seared Butterfish Nigiri - Served w/ fantastic sauce.Excellent sushi!
Eater: Sushi Zo might be simple, spartan, and minimal in decor, but the pristine fish served as sashimi and nigiri is anything but. The prices can ratchet up with rare and unique cuts of fish.
Justin Dean: Pay respect to tradition; eat the nigiri with you hands. They may serve you more than the fixed menu — they did for us.

Dawn M: Get the Toro Nigiri, Main Lobster Roll, and Salmon Skin Roll! OH MY GOD! Delicious!!!!
Matt Helsley: The yellow tail was fantastic and the portions of fish on all the nigiri were generous. Also the black snapper with a little shiso leaf under it was great.
Angelo M: The gorgeous shrimp hand roll and bscr are bomb dot com!!!

Eater: The omakase menu includes classic nigiri pieces such as maguro and toro, in addition to butterfish, albacore and yellowtail. Prices are high to match the quality, upwards of $200 a person.
DailyCandy: Though largely overshadowed by the popular omakase dinner, the lunch special (miso soup, salad, sushi bowl, three pieces of nigiri and a hand roll) is worth the hassle of finding midday parking.
Sandy: Lunch special is $22 and incl. chirashi, some nigiri, crab roll, and soup/salad. They were quite elusive about it, so you likely won't find it on the menu. It wasn't offered to us, but we knew to ask.

David Chui: been to many sushi place and this is the first that use wasabi grounded from raw wasabi. go figure how legit this place is. try the engawa nigiri. it's not on the menu, so ask for it.
Josh Upton: One of the best all around meals I've ever had and somehow also one of the most reasonable. Got the 10 pc nigiri w/ tuna roll and the toro and everything couldn't have been fresher and more delicious.
Lindsey Warren: Both the chirashi and sashimi lunch specials are great and so much food! Get the sashimi if you want more fish. Gets very crowded around 12:30.

Ms Heather L.: Try the sampler meal where you have a 5 course mini meal & you will be satisfied! I couldn't finish mine. It was all delicious!!!

Tao Tao: Oh my God. The fusion sushi is outrageous here. Must must visit. Foie Gras rolls, truffle Toro nigiri, etc all excellent
Karl Hobart: Their ankimo (monkfish liver) is delicious and the grilled calamari has plenty of tentacles!
Alexandra E.: Was surprised by the dessert menu here! They had more than just the regular mochi, probably about 8-10 options.... Not typical for sushi restaurants. Take a look.
Djordje Grkovic: Get the Nozawa for dinner, which is ideal for two people to share. A good variety of sushi, with the blue crab hand roll and scallop nigiri as definite standouts.
Ahmet Cinar: The sushi is really the best, the way they cook the rice is especially amazing..
Jonathan Friedman: Trust Me for lunch. Nozawa for dinner.

Kate Yu: Have no regrets for coming ! Amazing fresh fish! Simple but awesome taste of each nigiri!
Xiulung: Disappointing Trust Me. Found bones, scales, and crab shell in my food. Used too much ponzu sauce, not very creative and overpowered the fish. Nigiri: fish too cold, rice too warm, rice fell apart.
Nicole P: Delicious and simple sushi (no deep fried rolls with mayonnaise!) for a reasonable price.

goop: The set menu changes daily according to Fujita and Nozawa's market finds, and consists of purist nigiri, sushi, and hand-rolls. Read more.
Eater: The adventurous meal is well worth its pricey tag. Expect pristine quality seafood like live octopus, monkfish liver, and several preparations of uni. Also, maybe the best toro you've ever tried.
Eater: The esprit of Nozawa lives on at this smaller, more intimate sushi bar behind the Sugarfish in Beverly Hills, where a fixed omakase gets served with extreme precision. Quality of fish is top notch.
