There's a huge unofficial dog park on the other side of the basketball courts. SO many dogs; it's awesome! The playground is decent, plus plenty of picnic tables. It's a HUGE park!

Great park for the munchkins. Clean, no graffiti and there's even security guards.

There's no real shade on the playground, be sure to douse your kids in sunscreen.
It gets really crowded on the weekends but it's fun. There are a few vendors selling food, drinks and toys. It is a place for families to enjoy the outdoors.

One of the best parks in L.A. - centrally located and full of slides, climbing bars, and a nice big sand pit. Ice cream truck always stop by (blessing or curse?). Too hot - picnic under the trees.
Photo doesn't really do it justice – there are essentially five playgrounds within one playground here. Lots of open green space where you can bring a ball and kick or throw it around.
Pleasantly surprised by this park on my commute to work. Library is open until 8 PM on weekdays, great jungle gym for the kids. Only downside is its street parking

Fun place for the kids to play around
My kids loved this Playroom. They enjoyed it a lot while playing here. I loved the toys they had. It was safe for the kids and educational as well. The place was spaciously clean and safe.
We only played in the smaller kids area with the ball pit and other toys as well as their market where the baby can shop around for food, then cook and serve in a kitchen and dining room!
There was a huge area for smaller kids to simulate a grocery store, and large areas to play with dolls and most things your kid will ever want. I find the atmosphere quite friendly and nice.
Watch out for 4-year-olds going 20mph on battery-driven motorcycles. Not cool when they kneecap you or your toddler.

Really nice park. Lots of grass. Olympic size swimming pool. Large playground and small toddler playground. Also a running trail!

Very nice park and playground nestled in the hills of Brentwood and off the beaten path. Good venue for organized activities such as a party with ample parking available in the parking lot.
The bathrooms are locked during the week, but there are two porta-potties at the far end of the field.
Control your dogs and kids, people; its the Turtle Pond, not the "Bite and Kick a Turtle Pond"
So many turtles having a wonderful day... Their reptilian happiness is contagious! (but don't pet them, 'cause salmonella is also contagious)
No turtles or fish, just stinky water.
You'll find a quiet spot to sit and enjoy nature in an area that can really use it. The 0.4 mile walking path is the perfect length for a lunchtime stroll. Read more.
