Was hoping to get a good pic but is not lit like it used to be at night so don't recommend trying for a night visit. Seen from downtown Hollywood during day. Spectacular

Quintessential LA. You absolutely cannot beat that view, it feels so otherworldly up here. Both secluded and full of energy. You'd always see locals and tourists alike pondering life at this spot.
Cruise one of the world’s most famous scenic drives, winding from the Hollywood Hills, across the spine of the Santa Monica Mountains, and west towards the Pacific Ocean.
The houses are nice, but behind them is some great, steep nature
Delicious drinking water fountain here and a splash trough for dogs!!

The view at night. No cars, no sound save for the electric beauty below. The drive back to 101 S is awe-inspiring with the narrow canyon roads and architecturally diverse homes

Incredible views of the entire city at sunrise. Park is open from sunrise until sunset.

When you walk up the stairs instead of going into the observation circle walk in the dirt around it to get a much better view
Although a plane takes off every 5 minutes still a nice quiet family beach with plenty of free street parking.

Beautiful 360* view of L.A. at the top of the stairs. Climb those stairs, your buns will thank you. Also, watch out for snakes!!
