Udon was delicious! Mentai squid butter was really good. And the pork belly don too.

Hearty, but salty soup base. The udon style ramen noodles are a novel touch. Al dente is good.
Been only once. Had the basic Tsukemen with egg. Noodles were great, thick, bordering on udon. Broth was tasty, a little tart/vinegary, could have been hotter (temp. not spice) but still good.

Soup udon is just ok but quite oily. Taste is ok, but the udon texture does not feel all that fresh. It's a cafe style diner with lots of add on tempura options.
The wild salmon nigiri special is so yummy. Try the Kimpira Renkon as an app, tororo udon hot. Yummy!
Sushi lunch set is very good value. Sashimi is real fresh like when I had at shukiji. Udon is so soft and soup is delicious.

Don’t drive here! Otherwise you’d regret that you can’t taste a great variety of sake. The bar food is also awesome, especially the chicken katsu sando, okonomiyaki and kare udon.
Be part of a bigger group and order everything food on the menu, you won’t regret it! The sake selection is the best in LA hands down! ♥️

Pork udon soup is light and delicious. Great for a cool winter day. Pork ramen was spectacular and sushi was fresh and good. I will definitely come back!
This place is legit. Better food than your typical izakaya. Homemade tofu, cold egg custard, fisherman's squid, beef tongue, tongue sashimi, shishito peppers - all great. Get a draft Asahi to drink.
