Worth the wait: macaroni & cheese balls, duck tacos & fries with truffle oil fried in duck fat
Literally in a basement. Awesome laid back atmosphere w lots of unique choices. Kesteel Rouge cheery beer, Mac and cheese balls, bleu cheese venison burger, lamb ribs, and duck fat fries - awesome!
We were in Louisville for a week and this was by far the best place we ate at. The elk burger, duck tacos, and ribs are all a must have.
The duck dish with sprouts and carrots is a must try!
Duck fat popcorn. It is the most magical snack. Every experience at this place is top notch. By far my favorite place in the 'Ville.

Pretty much everything is amazing. Yuca tots, lobster taco Korean style, chorizo taco is not overly greasy or spicy & duck taco is awesome. Stellar atmosphere & Margi's too.
A lot of spice within the vegetarian taco section but the few options I had were all really good. The tortilla was quality.

Without a doubt the best pasta I have tasted in the city if not the state. No I'm not talking about the gnocchi, but I am talking about the amazing hand rolled semolina penne pasta with duck confit .

I was blown away by the Sandwich of the Day. A baguette with house-made sausage, bacon, Mahon cheese, arugula, roasted red peppers, mayo, and topped with fried duck eggs. Decadent and Delicious!
A little bit pricey, but you can get some great earl gray tea and a pug roll with some amazing jam for under $5.
They actually have macroons in Louisville and this is the place to go!

The food was outstanding. We had the octopus appetizer (perfection), for dinner I had the Duck Bolognese, my husband had the veal (great). Pair the KY bourbon pie with the Madeira...it is beautiful!
