French toast is lovely. The entire place feels very "hipster co-working space", but sometimes that's exactly what you need.
Now well and truly "discovered". No longer a quiet and quirky cafe, it's hipster central and very loud at lunch times. Still worth visiting, but no longer any good for a quiet conversation.

The Premises is very hipster, you can tell from the waiters here. The food is amazing! Try their french toast and you'll agree with me. Amazing coffee too.. Recommended!

Absolutely fantastic hipster rooftop bar. It's about 5 stories up this random internal stairwell of an apartment building with fake lawns and mismatched glass wear. Must go!!

Try the Shady Deal on the breakfast menu - and ask for strong coffee. Also - wash your hands, they use Aesop in the bathrooms.

Everything is vegetarian and most can be made vegan. The Tofu burger is one of the best I tried in Melbourne.

Overpriced, overrated & overcrowded. It’s like a recovery party in someone’s garage. If that’s your sort of thing then you’ll like it but for me it’s taking the Melbourne hipster brunch way too far.
