Black Cod Miso and Baby Tiger Prawn Tempura with creamy spicy sauce. Excellent service but loud music
The food was incredible, the tempura broccoli being a highlight, while the salmon was perfectly cooked. It may be on the expensive side, but it was worth every cent.
Tried both the shoya and matsu sets for lunch. Most of the courses were nice. Tempura was light and crispy but the grilled fish was overcooked and tough. Green tea ice cream was creamy and more-ish.

Do the Degustation at Shoya. The best Japanese you'll have outside of Japan. Just amazing.
Will be going back for that banana tempura! Presentation was awesome too.
Really good seitan stuff. Try satay "chicken" and lemongrass "duck".

Tempura fried chicken, pork belly, bonito grilled chilli, beer, whiskey and booze in general, style, staff, menus. Absolutely close to a perfect meal.

I loved the creativity and the innovative and unique taste of the dishes. It's one of the best restaurants I've ever tried. Food is top although service is a bit rushed and portions not that big.

Everything is generally great here ... the two course lunch special is especially great value.
Always delicious and sometimes challenging your taste buds, the food is always 2hats and the desserts are completely amazing. Got the salmon tartare, the flinders lamb and the desert plate.
Suckling pig/pork belly was delicious. Also tried one of every dessert, our favourite was the berry trifle and golden gaytime!
Tempura Udon is big. Generous portions of tempura including two big prawns, tasty & warm soup make this a perfect winter food when you are cold, hungry and short on time.

A little expensive, but the most incredible meat. The brisket is heavenly, the porterhouse is cooked perfectly (order it rare). Get the 'Iceberg n blue cheese' side, Oh and get a Smoked Old Fashiioned
