Friendly staff, excellent coffee. The food's great, too - the specials menu usually has something good to offer.
The lamb saddle was amazing, and so was the crispy duck with foie gras, and the lyonnaise salad with wagyu tongue and pigs ear. Service was excellent too. Def will go again (:

Salmon sashimi is ok. The ox tongue is quite good.
Tempura fried chicken, pork belly, bonito grilled chilli, beer, whiskey and booze in general, style, staff, menus. Absolutely close to a perfect meal.
Great blue tongue on tap. Goes very well with the amazing chicken parma. They also have friends jazz band the hoodangers on Sunday in the beer garden.
Wednesday night DJ, Karl, is ACE. Jazz, Northern Soul, and rarities abound. Good collection.
Don't go for the food (it's alright, just not exciting), but go for the rustic atmosphere and beer!
