Great price performance at this solid Japanese restaurant. The miso black cod bento is our favorite. Sashimi fan? Their sashimi platter won't break the bank. Never a charge for selecting brown rice.
If you have never had miso grilled black cod you must try it. I have never seen anyone not like it. Haru's bento box with miso grilled black cod and choice of sashimi or tempura is a delicious bargain

Happy hour is 5-7 and has great prices. $6 hot sake, half price rolls, special happy hour menu. Black rice was totally new to me, but I guess what they say is true... I'll never go back.
a must try is the albacore clear roll -- albacore, mango, cucumber, avocado and rice rolled with rice paper...you'll order it every time its on the menu!
The sushi at this eatery is good and isn't a wallet-breaker. The space is tiny, with only 10 tables, but the daily specials are vibrant and delicious.
