It varies every so often but sometimes you can find a bunch books in amazing condition. Lots of great manga as well. Worth taking multiple trips (spaced out enough) to get some good stuff.
Check your used discs before buying. Staff will let you if you ask. It's saved me from slashed up TV show & movie DVDs.

Never been before? Start from the top floor and walk down. There are great views of 5th Ave from the Patel Phillipe Mezzanine and it's incredibly quiet. A lovely romantic spot.
