Cleanest public bathroom EVER. The games, library, and outdoor concerts in the summer and shops in the winter make this one of the best parks in NYC
One of my favorite parks in NYC. Nice place to chill at lunchtime. In summertime it gets really crowded. Many movies were filmed here.
In the summer, don't miss movies in the park! In the winter, the ice skating rink is a must.
Less crowded than Empire State, you can have wonderful views from Central Park. Also Empire State can be seen in all its glory! 3 decks available!
Great view - Empire state, central park, statue of liberty.. you see it all. The best part is, book your tickets for a specific time and avoid the long queues, typically seen at the empire state.

Walk all the way to the top of the park where the street just ends and overlooks the river...the best benches to eat lunch on a sunny day.
Nice little private park system on the East River. Snag a spot where E41st just ends and enjoy the breeze off the river. Wave to Ahmadinejad as he drives by on his way to the UN to talk smack.
The parks in Tudor City are part of the landmarked community and are well maintained by Tudor City Greens. Residents can walk their dogs, play with their children, or just sit and read.
Small and a private park with waterfall. You do not expect to find here. Frequented by business people

Great spot on the park. You definitely need reservations because they are always busy. We love the simple things like homemade bread and their house preserves.

The ONLY park where you can enjoy a cigar in NYC. A beautiful space. Go there and enjoy a relaxing time..
People-watching is also a New York City activity, and you can do it everywhere. One of our favorite spots is Paley Park on East 53rd street (close to The Palace).

Check out the cafe on the second floor. Lots of yummy stuff---from bento boxes to French pastries--and a lovely view of Bryant Park.
Spend the morning exploring Japanese books 'n things. Then grab a bento or pastries from Cafe Zaiya on the 2nd floor and enjoy a gorgeous day with your new book across the street in Bryant Park. :)
A Japanese bookstore near Bryant Park with various magazines, manga, books (English and Japanese), stationery, and other knick knacks. Cafe Zaiya is upstairs with great snacks and refreshments.
When you want a break from the fast paced city, head to this park for some relaxation. Bring a magazine too!

2nd largest library in the United States, 4th largest in the world. Tip: The best room by far for a New Yorker to escape is the History and Geography room that overlooks Bryant Park.
Such a glorious place to crank out your work. But the library's park is what makes coming here the complete package. especially in the summer when you can get your ping pong and chess on.

They have available power outlets on the north side of the building right next to a bunch of comfortable chairs. That combined with the park's free wifi makes for a great spot to do some work.

En invierno ponen una pista de hielo. Esta excelente en verano porque te relajas en el pasto, volteas a tu alrededor y ves los edificios de NY. Es uno de los mejores parques en la zona.
