As a first-timer here, was a bit puzzled by the way things go here. The nice thing when you sit at the bar is that you can order your sushi "a la carte" one by one... Urchin is a truly special treat.

The sea urchin is fresh frm California daily.The peanut & avocado roll was definitely delicious. Cocktail list is great. Chilean honey sea bass was a great portion the Gyoza was amazing wit piña sauce
Order the gyoza here, it's excellent. The green tea is great too and unlimited. My favorite Japanese restaurant in midtown east.

Don’t get me wrong it’s good but you definitely pay a hefty price for the atmosphere here. The food itself isn’t that incredible. Strongly recommend the miso soup. Skip the sea urchin. Soap 8/10 🧼😊

Sublime and peaceful dining experience. Try any of the tasting menus with wine, they’re well worth the price. Nice place to take a break and have a drink while exploring MoMA.

My fiancé and I shop there a lot. Call in advance. Parking is usually taken care of. The staircase is amazing. Has to be the best staircase in the world. Take your time going up it.
