Come here for the lunch special from 12-2 $15 for sea urchin bowl or steak fillet w/salad. The evening is even better! Sushi, sashimi, Shabu Shabu. The ginger ale here is my favorite!

Hide-Chan is arguably one of the best ramen in the city, great lunch specials. Avoid at dinner time the wait line will be out the door. Go for deluxe ramen and cheese gyoza, for spicy go for Dragon
The summer lunch special will save you a few dollars on the majority of popular ramen dishes. Spicy garlic ramen was very good. The pork was more well done than I usually prefer.

One of the best lunch deals in Midtown (even on weekends). Go for the Pho Bo ($8) to heat you up on a cold day. Ask for extra noodles and make it two meals.
Super super good lunch specials. A heaping amount of food plus really cheap alcoholic/nonalcoholic drinks. I haven't found a bad meal on the menu.

Very authentic Sichuan place. not too salty! Amazing lunch special. Get the fish fillet with chilis or beef with Asian peppers. Wonton soup is really oily.
Spicy Szechuan cuisine. The lunch special (11:30-3:30) is very reasonable and the portions are generous.
Really good food, loved the $11 lunch special. Only complaint is how pungent the restaurant and food were. It was hard to get used to. I will visit again, despite the smell.
