very homey and warm. the olive and goat cheese appetizers are recommended. Creole trout meuniere was great (restaurant special, not on regular menu)

The duck ravioli was fantastic! So savory and filling but not heavy. The apples were a pleasant surprise in the dish. This is a must get again!
You get pizza pieces as table bread serving.
The lobster bisque is probably the best I've ever had. It's a bowl of savory, silky love.

Not what you expect before you walk in, in a good way. I've been here many times & recommend it to everyone. Staff is stupendous & ambience takes the cake!
Food is very similar to qin dynasty. They have kids menu but beware of snobby river oaks crowd.
Seafood risotto is awesome. This is one of the most romantic restaurants in town - great food, service and atmosphere. Sit at a table in sight of the piano. ❤️

Wonderful place, walking distance from Menil Collection. Went for brunch on a Sunday without a reservation and the staff treated us like kings, Coffee + Crab Omelette + Dessert + Mimosas!
The duck confit is outstanding!
The duck and onion focaccia is a great starter. I didn't want to share it. The tuna is good, but it has surprise horseradish.
Go for the stuffed mango chicken and don't break the bank. Naan bread a must. Don't leave without trying bread pudding. Reservation recommended. Try sister restaurant Pondicheri.
Feeling adventurous? Try the goat brains masala.

The Snapper Decadent is simply marvelous and desserts are pretty much to die for. Be sure to take your waiter's word for any specialties of the day.
Mary is the best bartender and happy hour is 2-4pm also the stuffed Jalopenos are everything
Stuffed poblano pasta was delicious!! Service was excellent, but it was SUPER loud in there. Also, on my way out I saw an abundance of really scary face lifts and plastic surgery.
Wild Mushroom Pizza with a bottled coke. It's a thing of beauty.
For breakfast check the Eggs Benedict w/ medium poached eggs, sub salsa Rojas for hollandaise sauce. Add prosciutto and have potatoes on the side! Yum!
Brasil's patio is lovely—it's one of our favorites in Houston.
Ask for the ceviche sampler so you'll get some of everything. Outstanding fish and the Oaxacan Rita is an interesting drink choice, with mezcal.
