Can’t wait to go back! I’m a vegetarian who eats egg.. ramen tasted delicious...salt was perfect, went for express lunch and got one of the most delicious side of fried rice and salad with it.
Good tonkotsu ramen (add sesame chilli for an extra bite).The sumo ramen is also a pleasant option for the hungry ones.
The lunch special is perfect. You get a protein and rice bowl, some salad and a small bowl of delicious ramen. A little bit of all the yummy things!
We went to Friends Ramen to satisfy our cravings and we liked it. Takoyaki was one of the best that we have ever had. Portion is quiet small but this is their concept to try more of their flavors.

Lots of cafe options, passable ramen for $8, good beer selection at the bar, and cold-pressed juices make this a pretty good food destination near the loop.
Great Whole Foods but the ramen sucks.
Pretty large Whole Foods with everything for weekly grocery runs. They have a decent food bar with pizza and ramen stations.

Roka Akor only serves its ramen at lunch when the clientele is sparse. But, figuring in the miso soup and nicely dressed salad, this lunch offering is a surprising value at $15.

Everything about this place is delicious. Minus the wait time and of ability to meet a reservation on-time.
It's not on the new menu but if you ask for the spicy schezuan cashew shrimp they'll make it for you. My Favorite!
