"Ordering right" is important (the whole fish is the best thing on the menu; other standouts are the escargot, onion soup, and mussels), but if you don't, the total experience is still very worth it
Escargot is some of the best I've had. The whole fish is amazing. They do not take reservations so get there early or be prepared to wait. lovely bar service tonight.
Great spot for a date. My faves are the French Onion soup, escargot, and the filet mignon with garlic sauce.

The Alaskan cod sandwich is literally mind blowing. The escargot is also fantastic. The wait staff was wonderful and even refilled our wine glasses on the house! Will definitely come back!

Awesome lobster entree. Filet was fabulous too! Crab and shrimp cakes great as well as the oysters. House bread is phenomenal! Banana Creme Brule was amazing too!
Top 5 meals of my life. Everything was great, but the fried oysters and escargot gave me a borderline seizure.
Ask for Daniel, he's funny and very knowledgable. Bread pudding is to die for. Escargot is spectacular.
Order anything on the menu. It will be wonderful. I know, because I ordered everything and asked for it to be topped with oysters. WOW!

Came Friday night at 7, waited down stairs listening to music and having a few drinks for almost 2 hrs... And it was worth it!!! Escargot, mussels, veal park were all excellent ... Will be returning!
Well worth the wait! Anything with crab was delicious - eggplant with crabmeat and capers, cannelloni with crabmeat and corn, fish with ocean sauce. One of the best meals in NOla!
