I've tried lots of sushi places in Nola and Asuka is by far the best! It's very small. No sushi bar, but the sushi is amazing! Louisiana roll was delicious. Oh and BYOB!
Try the hibachi chicken and hibachi rice, excellent food!

The chicken lunch special is delicious. Green tea is made from loose powder, which I enjoy.

Wednesday happy hour is all night. Fish taco handroll and steamed bun with short ribs were two of the happy hour specials, both dirt cheap and DELICIOUS. .
Have never had a bad dish here. Always fresh seafood and sushi. Just remember that soda refills are not free!

While they have the best "hibachi" in town, they will nickel & dime you at every corner. Mind the little disclaimers here and there. Otherwise, really great hibachi.

LSU roll is amazzzing...the atmosphere is so fun here!
We ordered a second LSU roll it was that good. Spicy crunchy was really good IMO and the Hawaii 5-0 was as good as any place. Atmosphere was good, but I'd still rank little Tokyo over this place.
Happy hour on Tuesday for sushi is the best! 10pm-2am. Every day happy hour 3-6pm. $3.50 for rolls during hh. Open late too!

Probably the best sushi in New Orleans, which is a pretty good town for sushi actually. If it isn't the best, it definitely has the most awesome mascot. Merchandise available.

Fresh fish, friendly staff, consistent, & priced right. What's not 2 like. If it's ur 1st time get the Sara Roll (named after the owner)
Be mindful of the freshness of the fish, but go for the Sara Roll.
If you sit at the sushi bar you get a free miso soup, but there's a $10 minimum!
