Emily Spurlock: Pear & Grape taste just like you're eating the actual fruit. You can put two flavors in the little cup but whatever the first flavor you say you get the most of.

KE: The gnocchi is to die for, broth, rigatoni were great. Try the pear salad and the garlic bread apps! Pass on the Japanese sweet potato salad, octopus. If you have room for dessert - chocolate pudding!
Missy Mackey: The ricotta meatballs, the apple crostata dessert and the pear walnut salad were all delicious. The service was lovely too.

Lori Luo: Starr and Smillie have partnered up to create a California-inspired menu at Upland. Start off with a shared pizza (like the Pear) and make sure to get a pasta, like the excellent Pappardelle.
Abigail Koffler: This place has free sparkling water, great service and a a phone charging station, I never wanted to leave. Try the pear pizza and the carrots with a California wine.

Juhn: Great place for low key drinks and then dinner upstairs. Scallops and poached pear for dessert were great
