Gyoza are the perfect crispness and the curry is so comforting.
It's like walking downstairs to a wine cellar and then suddenly realizing you're in Tokyo. Tuna Tataki was delicious, too bad there were only 5 slices!
Everything we ordered was really tasty and flavorful, from the kiwi cocktail to the kimchi creamy udon, tuna tataki, corn skewer and sushi rolls. Would definitely return and try more!

Some of the freshest, most delicious food near City Hall. Try the homemade tofu or tuna tataki salads, Midori juice and one of the unusual macarons - like goma or matcha.
Tuna Tataki Salad is impossibly fresh and light and perfect for stupid hot days. Highlight is the aggressively sassy wasabi dressing.
A must for those who are nostalgic for tray and tong style Japanese bakeries. Get your tongs on!
You must order the Tuna Tataki. It is melt in your mouth amazing. The Yakiniku Don is fantastic too.
The fried chicken curry was nice but we were blown away by the small plates! The tuna tataki was so incredibly delicious that we ordered two! It has this spicy miso sauce on it that is so addicting.
Fantastic new Japanese don buri restaurant in the East Village. An excellent menu of share plates, rice bowls and curries. Beautiful interior and perfect for dates.

Ask for the limited foie gras dumplings (off menu!) they really are worth it!!! Also: Fantastic salmon sashimi with dried Miso (in photo).
I recommend the spicy fried tofu with avocado (my fave), lobster tempura, spicy beef, and tuna tataki but pretty much everything melts in your mouth.
Great place for large groups and sushi, as well as a very colorful dessert platter. Delicious apps, rolls, steaks, fish and we got a private room for the ny product leadership dinner!
Not that the food wasn't spectacular, but this deluxe dessert platter was unreal!

Bo ssam, rice cake+kabocha+shishito pepper, military stew. Great food, reasonably priced beer, good service and a very cool vibe.
Great spot for lunch in k-town: ~$10 menu (cash only) and good portions. Seafood noodles and farro bibimbop (강된장보리비빔밥) are delicious. Spicy noodles and pork katsu are good too
Get the tuna tataki donburi, the smoked salmon toast, and the sesame creme brulee. The tea is very good as well.
One of the best tea houses on the city. Don't just come for the desserts they have great savory snacks too
come here on a rainy afternoon. sit in the corner by the window. get one of the sets. order up a tea you've never had before. tune out everyone and read your book.

Can't get enough of the handsome waiters, sea urchin pasta with pink sauce, caesar salad and grilled octopus. This is a must every time I visit Manhattan.

My favorite sushi in NYC. Everything I've tried has been perfect. One of the greatest things about this place is that is BYOB.
Portions are really small, food is mediocre, only good thing is byob. Over priced and still hungry.
Amazing, get the truffle roll, dynamite, and spicy spider rolls. BYOB, put your name in and wait across the street at Ryan's Daughter, they'll even chill your wine while you wait. Poke will call you
You can't really go wrong with anything on the menu. Pricy but so good! Also don't need reservations and easier to access than regular Nobu. Less likely to see a celebrity though

the drawing room is one of my favorite quiet spaces in the neighborhood. it's great for a catchup over tea or drinks. if it's nice out, you can also pop into the inner courtyard.
