Jonathan Esterhazy: Cauliflower arugula pizza is delish.
Leslie Wong: The arugula salad was delicious, enough to share between two people. The mushroom pizza was tasty but the toppings slipped right off the super thin crust
G.R. Medina: Pepperoni and Sausage are made in house. Tried the sausage, excellent. Next is pepperoni. BEWARE ONION HATERS (red onions on almost everything even if not listed)
Caroline Faure: Long wait on a Saturday morning, but it's worth it! Had poached eggs on French toast with arugula, wild mushrooms and optional Parma ham, so good! The location is also nice, near Lake Merritt
Hannabeth Lagerlof: Just had the savory French toast, and my mind is blown. Definitely not what I was expecting - it is VERY savory with a lot of arugula! Honestly, I haven't had anything close to it before, it was 💯
Jenn Caballero: Everything is delicious, but try the savory French toast for something special

Erica Burnett: Add arugula and a farm egg to your pizza. And save room for the panna cotta!
Gina: One of my favorite restaurants in O-Town. Alice Waters-trained chef, simple ingredients with complex flavors, amazing pizzas….never had a bad meal here! Read more.
Ashley Mowrey: Get the gin and tonic and pizza with nettles or chanterelles. Everything is so damn good. Get in when they first open, no need to be picky about when you eat, just get in when you can.

Tasting Table: Get a slice of the heirloom-tomato Margherita and enjoy the crust's sourdough base: Read more.
Serious Eats: The sourdough crust on the pizza is the best part. Make sure to ask for it not too well done or the cheese burns.

Olivia Simond: Best hamburger buns I've ever had, there is also a gluten-free bun. Nice variety with a few vegetarian options along with a charming street map of Oakland on the wall.
Cathryn Weems: The sliders plate for kids could be split between 2 kids, if not super hungry, as it's a decent amount of food. It's great value, at $6, so even if you get 2 orders, it's still reasonable.
Taka T: This place is perfect except they tend to grill the meat a bit past medium. Ask for really close to rare if you want medium rare. They'll say they'll try and you'll get medium rare.

Barbara Friedman: Everything on the brunch menu is amazing, but the porridge is absolutely magical.
Dan Rosenbaum: Get the chicken and churros. Their play on chicken and waffles has just been on the menu for only a week, but hopefully it's a mainstay. Delicious!
SFGate: Try the poached eggs on falafel cakes or honey cakes topped with roasted fruit at this Mediterranean food spot. Skip the mimosa and order a Morning Glory fizz instead. Read more.

Jeanine Shimatsu: Their cakes are fantastic. The chocolate one with toffee and salted caramel drizzled on top-- mmm.
Adrian Phillips: Picked up a flourless chocolate cake for a party that was rich, dense and incredibly tasty. It had caramel topping which made it even more brilliant. Only $20, great spot to pick up some desserts.
Tom Bellino: Best croissant I've ever had!
