You wouldn't think Oakland over Chicago or NY for pizza but this spot and Arizmendi on the other side on Lakeshore sure do compete for thin crust. Not as cracker crisp but still a great margherita

Great little place with above-average pizza. Apparently they just opened for breakfast, with good coffee and home-baked pastries. The owners were nice as well.
The sourdough crust on the pizza is the best part. Make sure to ask for it not too well done or the cheese burns.

For all mushroom fans, the mushroom pizza has a mushroom sauce and is topped with 4 types of mushrooms! Slices are big and they also take half pizza orders. We got 1.5 pizzas for 4 hungry people.

It took us over an hour to get our pizza but they were extremely busy with a party that was going on. The pizza was okay staff was friendly and apologized for the wait and if we enjoyed our meal.
The bolognese is kinda yucky-tastes like ketchup. Get the creamy pesto or the gorgonzola sauce instead...delicious!!
