Loved the fresh lox - smoked salmon, cream cheese and capers on wheat bagel.
Cute locally owned coffee shop with a large menu! Worked here one Friday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere. I recommend bagels over the sandwiches here.

The Panna pizza is off the hook. It's like penne a la vodka but in a pizza form (and without penne of course).
Generally much shorter wait during week days! Free bread sticks is a nice touch!
Unappreciated view of the bay and city. Catch a glimpse of Twin Peaks from here (my fav view of the city) and down to the bay over Pac Heights toward Sausalito and Alcatraz. Dog park big area.
If you have a small dog go to the north side of the park. Bigger dogs go to the south. I don't know where people w/o dogs go. :-)
Perfect for lunch. Grab a gourmet sandwich from Cheese Plus in Polk/Pacific, then stroll up to the park for sun and dog watching.
Walk the dog, play tennis, sunbathe, stroll. Don't miss the stunning views, which are particular lovely in the evening.

The calamari is the best fried calamari I've ever had...very lightly breaded and amazing flavor. Zucchini appetizer is simple, fresh, healthy, yummy. Spaghetti alla carbonera is my go to pasta dish.
Affogato and tiramisu made me cry cause it was so good. The tortellini is AMAZING
