The food is fresh and large portions. I liked the 1/2 chicken salad sandwich with a small salad. Miso ginger dressing is delicious. It’s kind of dark and noisy so not the best ambiance.

The only place I've ever been snubbed by a waiter because my friend and I were women. He actually went and got a female waitress to serve us instead. We weren't drunk, and we were dressed nice. WTF?
Kitsch, on a grand scale. Lots of fun. Surprisingly good food. Lots of proms etc in the Spring, great outdoor dining.
They have daily lunch specials (11am-4pm) that includes wonderful hot 'n sour chicken soup or salad with peanut dressing,which I felt is great deal than their regular dinner menu.

The Oasis Salad is really good - dressing on the side. And then get carrot cake cheesecake.
Marti is the beast server ever. Make sure to get the corned beef, lox and bagel and pastrami anything. Unpretentious and friendly. NOTE: huge portions
