The lox and kippered salmon had my family in awe and it was the perfect amount of food! They were also kind enough to include a tray of mini danish with a hand note congratulating me on my new home.

Everything is good here. If your a fan of Nova Scotia Lox theirs is like butter. The mushroom barley soup is enough for 3 people. You always bring home leftovers. A bit pricey but worth it for quality

The creme brulee French toast is good (though I would have preferred more syrup, otherwise the bread can seem dry). Try the lox benedict too, and slather it in hot sauce!
They used to make amazing lox eggs Benny. They wrapped the lox and cream cheese. Today I was really disappointed. They don't make it that way anymore. I to send my food back twice bc it was cold.
If you're indecisive like me, the Lox Benedict (served on rye with a dollop of cream cheese) is basically two breakfasts in one.
Open Sundays from 9am until they sell out. The Everything bagel with garlic cream cheese was delicious. Can't wait to try the lox bagel next time!

Bagels are a B+. Service is a C-, slow and unfriendly at times. Hopefully the newness will die off soon so the wait stops being 35 mins to get a bagel sandwich.

Best breakfast in the city. If you don't get the challah stuffed French toast you're missing out. Service is fast/tends to be busy, but bar seating is likely available. SERIOUSLY GET THE FRENCH TOAST.

Amazing Pastrami Sandwich, with mayo and Swiss cheese!
Only place in center city serving decent pastrami sandwiches. You can also get the meat for a pound. Not really the Katz NYC class but still decent!!!
Great soups, especially the chicken noodle. Also, while not on the menu, quarts of soup are available.
